A Lover's Precious Dance Book 2: Love Awakened

Celebrating the Magnificence of the Human Spirit

Therefore let your soul exalt your reason to the height of passion, that it may sing; And let it direct your passion with reason that your passion may live through its own daily resurrection, and like the phoenix rise above its own ashes.

The terrain of ones heart is sacred territory of which we must honor at all times. As love deepens, the call from within for the beloved intensifies. When we allow our heart and soul to dance with another we also dance with the Divine Here longing for the beloved and the fire and sweetness of passion is expressed.

Again, as in the first book, the poetry is more of an experience of liquid outpouring of inspirations that revealed unique unintended forms.

From the book:

SIPPING HOT WATER

The day has ended
I turn out the light at my bed side
I sit in quiet contemplation of nothing
an ambulance alarming passing
through the street in distance
I sip on my hot water
I swear it is you I smell
as I sip on hot water
in the dark of this night.

RIDING MOONBEAMS UPON MOONWAVES

...
The mind, I say,
is for us to learn to ride
with precision and skill
requires alert and astute
revise caution and awareness.
The mind is likened
to a wild stallion
jitter, jump, rear and kick
gallop wildly into moon lit skies
going nowhere for there is no where to go
running from nothing to nothing
for there is nothing to run from or run to
but – it is all in the mind.
